Dog Days of Summer at Cornell in Ithaca 2022

August 2022

This time of year is referred to as the dog days of summer.   It is from the end of July into August and is usually the hottest time of year.  The name actually comes from when the brightest star in the sky Sirius appears at night.  It commonly is believed the saying means that it is so hot that even dogs lay around panting.  Well here in Collegetown Ithaca at our student housing near Cornell it has been relatively quiet.  Slowly our tenants are moving in and in less than two weeks classes resume.  We are fully expecting the population of Collegetown to multiply tenfold in the next week or so.

2022-2023

In less than two weeks the Fall 2022 semester will kick off.  Kind of like muscle memory for us we pick right back up making sure our tenants are comfortable and settling in.  We have spent all summer preparing our units and making all of the finishing touches to make sure they are clean and ready for the next batch of tenants.  We have completely repainted a number of our house’s interior and exterior.   The best way to maintain these houses and keep them as high quality as possible is to put work into them.  We pride ourselves on luxury and offering affordable apartments in Collegetown.

2023-2024

There is also a whole group of rising sophomores who will have the opportunity to move off-campus from 2023-2024.  This is a very exciting step in any student’s college career.  You finally can venture out to live on your own off-campus.  We are meeting many of the students in this class already. Now is the time to reach out about your Cornell off-campus housing for 2023-2024.  We are taking many inquiries already and have already been booking tours.  So please do not wait any longer and reach out to us today!
