SNOW
It is no surprise for anyone who has spent a winter in Ithaca that February is usually the snowiest month. Maybe this is your first winter in Ithaca and as a student at Cornell? Well, this is winter in Upstate New York. Although the snow can be messy and makes getting around more difficult, it also paints the landscape a beautiful white. To see the trees, hills, mountains, and valleys covered in a beautiful white is just an incredible sight. So while walking from class to class, or your student apartment rental near Cornell to campus, take a moment and soak in the beauty.
COLD
Another factor we Ithacans and Cornellians are dealing with this winter is the abnormal cold. Yes, the winters are normally cold but we have seen many days and nights of below-freezing temperatures. This is not fun especially when you have to walk to class or campus. Our full-time staff is on hand to make sure all of our tenants are staying warm and comfortable. One thing we pride ourselves in is comfort. Our fully furnished apartments in Collegetown provide that level of home comfort to our tenants. All of our apartments are beautifully renovated historic homes. So you really get that experience of living in a house!
Off-Campus
Whether you are living on-campus or off-campus you are surely experiencing this winter while going to Cornell. The good news is the winter is officially over in 6 weeks! That right the spring season starts on March 20th! Our tenants are pretty much all settled into their Cornell off-campus housing. With the return of classes in a week, Collegetown is filling back up. It is a great feeling walking out of your apartment and heading over to campus when classes resume. You have the option to spend your free time in the comfort of your own apartment. It’s really too cold to spend much time outside but in a few short months, you will have that option too!
